Authenticity is everything
Ever since she can remember, Sabrina has always sang, played or danced her way through life. It's who she is. Now she's putting it all down in song to share her hope, humor and some sassy Southern charm with her listeners. "If we were to sit down for a chat with a great cup of coffee and the latest confection from my oven, you'd quickly know that home is where my heart is. It's the place where I've learned and been loved the most. Music has been the harmony to my life story, and we blend beautifully!" Sabrina's songs offer authentic messages coupled with a powerhouse soulful vocal that will make a best friend out of you.
Sabrina came to Nashville, not to seek a record deal, but first grade as her family was opening up a new business. Her parents owned a Ben Franklin store and she learned to work at a very young age - getting paid in candy of course! "I started going to a church where I found friends and eventually the greatest friend of all, Jesus Christ. I immediately emerged myself into what a Christian should look and act like, but it wasn’t until age 23 that I knew I wanted to be totally surrendered to Christ."
Sabrina's college years yielded more growth in her musical passions; and, growing up Nashville has its advantages of being in the right place at the right time. "I wanted to pursue singing but didn’t want to become a vocal major in college as my voice did not fit the classical style. I wanted to be the next Linda Rondstadt. Only in a college near Nashville, could you major in Recording Industry Management, so I learned the ins and outs of the music business coupled with business and mass communication minors. It has served me well in doing whatever job God has provided." Sabrina's career has encompassed working from record labels to music publishers to eventually running her own radio promotion company promoting artists such as Merle Haggard, Randy Travis, Paul Overstreet and The Prince of Egypt movie soundtrack - all while doing concert ministry, studio work and raising a family.
With a wealth of knowledge in her back pocket and a fresh outlook, new songs are emerging that she wants to share like her new single release, "This Is My Day," a song written in honor of cancer survivors, available on iTunes, Amazon and other digital outlets. Partial proceeds going to cancer support groups.
